With a strong presence in the Indian market, they are committed to providing high-quality and affordable medicines to improve patient outcomes.Role Overview:The Sales Manager (Institutional Sales) will be responsible for driving sales growth within the institutional segment in the Mumbai region. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, government institutions, and other healthcare organizations. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets. This role directly impacts the company s revenue and market share by ensuring the availability and adoption of our client s pharmaceutical products within the institutional sector.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within the institutional segment in Mumbai.- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including doctors, pharmacists, and procurement managers, in hospitals and other healthcare institutions to secure product listings and increase sales.- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize their performance and achieve individual and team goals.- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, providing insights into market dynamics and sales performance.- Collaborate with marketing and medical affairs teams to develop and execute promotional activities and educational programs for healthcare professionals.- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in sales and marketing activities.Required Skillset:- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies within the institutional pharmaceutical market.- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and other healthcare institutions.- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
