We are seeking a dynamic Business Head to lead and scale our Direct-to-Customer (D2C) grid-tied inverter operations across Odisha. This is a high-stakes leadership role requiring a blend of strategic P&L management, team leadership, and deep local market expertise to capitalize on the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.Core Responsibilities :Regional Leadership : Lead all D2C solar branches in Odisha, overseeing regional P&L, revenue growth, and market expansion.Team Management : Mentor and drive a high-performing team of Area Managers, Process Associates, and field agents.Operational Excellence : Optimize the end-to-end customer lifecycle-from prospecting and sales conversion to installation and after-sales service.Strategic Growth : Implement plans to achieve aggressive sales targets and manage regional subsidy frameworks and DISCOM regulations.Stakeholder Relations : Cultivate strong ties with government agencies, DISCOMs, and local channel partners to ensure seamless execution.The Ideal CandidateExperience : 8 years in Business Development with at least 2 years of mandatory D2C sales experience (Solar/Energy/D2C Product sectors).Note : Candidates from purely EPC, project-only, or channel-only backgrounds will not be considered.Branch Management : Proven track record in managing multi-unit or district-level operations with full ownership of revenue and execution.Domain Knowledge : Solid understanding of grid-tied inverters, solar rooftop ecosystems, and the PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy mechanism.Language & Location : Fluency in Odiya is mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable operating from Western Odisha (Balangir, Sambalpur, or Jharsuguda).Leadership Style : A balanced mix of Individual Contributor (IC) excellence and experience leading field sales teams.Education : Engineering background preferred; MBA is a plus.
